Joseph Garner is an award winning filmmaker. He received grand prize in the “Script Pipeline Into Motion Pictures” screenwriting competition, was a finalist at the Tribeca Film Festival short film competition, and was awarded top honors in the “Top This TV Challenge” for a commercial he wrote and directed. He has also directed commercials for Toyota, Sirius, Roxio, Levi’s, Heinz, CareerBuilder, and American Express. In 2008, he signed with Nydrle, Inc. to direct commercials and music videos.
Joseph directed and produced a project for the Seeds of Tolerance program on Current TV and his first screenplay, SLAMMIN’, was acquired by Clifford Werber at Warner Bros. Pictures. Recently, Joseph was the Associate Producer on Todd Phillips’ latest movie for Warner Bros., “Due Date”, featuring Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, and previously worked on the production team for “The Hangover.” Prior to moving to Los Angeles, he received a B.A. from San Francisco State University Film School. During his senior year, he created and directed the West Coast Student Film Festival, which featured student films from over twenty-five countries.
“Craigslist Joe” is his first feature length documentary.

Uday Sehgal is Principal of Vine Street Partners, a boutique investment management firm. He previously served as Director of Acquisitions for Los Angeles-based Viceroy Hotel Group. Uday was responsible for overseeing the company’s business development efforts in the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia from 2006-2009. He sourced and closed Viceroy’s first venture outside of North America, an oceanfront development site on Vietnam’s China Beach. Uday also initiated a working relationship with Mubadala Development Company, the strategic sovereign wealth vehicle of Abu Dhabi. He played a leading role in due diligence and negotiations of the transaction in which Mubadala acquired a 50% interest in Viceroy globally, which closed in July of 2008.
Prior to joining Viceroy, Uday worked in an acquisitions and asset management capacity for Trizec Properties, one of the country’s largest owners and operators of commercial real estate assets. Uday received a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and completed further graduate business coursework at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In 2001, Kevin Flint found the story that would become his first feature film. His twin brother decided to quit his career as a banker to pursue a new career as a professional trapeze artist with the most acclaimed circus in the world, Cirque du Soleil. Filmed over five years all across the globe, the resulting documentary film was Catching Dreams. This film won the Best Documentary award at the Washougal International Film Festival and recently the Award of Merit at the Accolade Competition.
Starting his own production company in 2008, Kevin has been the DP on numerous projects including the feature film The Ridley Project, which he shot and directed on location in Costa Rica. He shot and co-produced the documentary feature, On Sacred Ground, following the Native Americans struggle to protect sacred sites in South Dakota.

Eve Marson was born and raised in New York City and received her BA from Harvard University in Linguistics. Over the past years she has worked on a variety of feature documentaries, including Bigger, Stronger, Faster, and television programming, including Discovery Channel’s The Joy of Lex. Eve also served as producer on an informational web series for GOOD Video’s 2008 election coverage. Most recently Eve spent a grueling year studying genocide and filming on site around the world as associate producer for the PBS feature documentary Worse Than War. She is pleased to now be teaming up with “Craigslist Joe” for this uplifting project!

Angelique Sheppard began her work in the film industry at Sea Level VFX boutique post-production house in Venice, California, which provides high-end finishing and visual effects for commercials. In addition to working with the industry’s most groundbreaking directors, including Spike Jonze, Mike Mills, Fredrik Bond, Patrick Daughters, Mark Romanek, and Tarsem, the company’s clientele includes Jaguar, Sprint, Nike, Levi’s, Adidas, Honda, and Miller Light. Following her work with Sea Level VFX, she worked at the prestigious Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood. Angelique served as producer and production designer for a series of hybrid commercial campaigns featuring Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Ford.
Before moving to Los Angeles to work in the film industry, Angelique lived in St. Paul, Minnesota where she graduated from Bethel University with a B.A in Education prior to joining and touring with the three-time Grammy Award-winning group, Sounds of Blackness. She also started a non-profit organization providing dance instruction to the lower-income students in her hometown of Rochester, Minnesota.

Over the past year, Drew Kilcoin has assisted on four feature films including two Polish Brothers movies, Stay Cool and Manure, as well as Pickin and Grinnin and Montana Amazon. He has also edited several feature documentaries, namely They Came to Play, America Betrayed, and assisted on the award-winning Bomb It. Drew received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Film and Video Production from Penn State University, and a Masters of Fine Arts at Chapman University. During his years at Chapman, he edited and sound designed over 15 short films and a feature documentary, with aggregate admission to over 50 film festivals throughout the world.

David Garner is Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Youth Empowerment and Liberation Project, a nonprofit organization that brings educational opportunities in film, music and art to inner-city schools throughout Los Angeles County. He became a Teach For America corps member in 2003, and currently sits on the Hiring Committee with Green Dot Public Schools where he works as a high school mathematics teacher in Watts.
David recently returned from producing a documentary film about a Los Angeles-based band’s national, guerrilla music tour where he coordinated voter registration efforts with Rock the Vote. He also served as tour manager, scheduling shows, setting up radio interviews, organizing rehearsals, overseeing a $400,000 budget, hiring a film crew, and acquiring corporate sponsorships. David has coordinated media collaborations with South by Southwest Film and Music Festivals in Austin, TX, the Jammy Music Awards in Manhattan, the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans, LA, the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO, and the Eco Festival in Venice, CA.
David received his B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2006, David received a certificate from the Grant Writing Institute in San Francisco.

Possessing a natural talent for both fine art and technology, James Anderson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, concentrating in Graphic Design. Since graduation, James has lent his expertise as a 3D animator and designer to studios such as Stardust and Imaginary Forces, working on commercials for high profile clients including Sony, Microsoft, HP, Nike, Disney, Discovery Channel, HBO, BMW, Honda, and Sears. Additionally, he has designed and animated opening sequences and menus for DVD and Blu Ray. Titles include the Star Wars Trilogy, Star Trek: The Original Series, Casino Royale, Starship Troopers, RoboCop, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Fifth Element. James is currently working on both graphics and title sequences for “Craigslist Joe.”

Emily Foster was raised in the suburbs of Detroit and received a BA in Sociology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She eventually moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career in production, and over the past years has thrown herself into a diverse array of projects, working on commercials, music videos, and most recently as in-house associate producer at Current TV. She has a heartfelt passion for documentary — as well as for craigslist: her apartment is furnished almost exclusively with items found on the site.

Noah Dzuba was born and raised in Philadelphia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in sociology from Northwestern University in 2001. He has years of experience in education, focusing on special education and underserved communities. He is handsome and single. He doesn’t like talking about himself.
